I have tried to meditate so many times in the past but have been unsuccessful, so it is frustrating, and I feel it is a waste of time. Because of this I tend to make excuses why I do not have time to meditate, any suggestions to help me get there?

Watching our thoughts only, is the hardest way to come into the present moment when we are first learning to meditate. Start with the simple Chakra Sounds Meditation, focusing on the toning will help you to feel the energies within you, and help to quiet your thoughts. Then at the end of the toning give yourself 10 minutes to watch your breathing, focusing on the inhalation and exhalation into your lower belly area below the navel.
