I am finding that even with the EFT process, I clear the feelings and beliefs to “0” and it feels good for a short time, but then I start reacting to my old beliefs and feelings again, why do I do this?
It can be a couple of things, one is that it was not totally gone, underneath some of the feelings and thoughts you were carrying are still there. Go in and do the process again, but going deeper with it. The other thing that gets in the way is our “sabotage part”. Meaning we all have a sabotage part of our mind that prevents ourselves from giving to us what we deserve, in some people it is stronger than others. This is based on what we feel about ourselves and our worthiness; these feelings about ourselves usually come from childhood, parents, teachers, the church, and the collective of our society.
